Fundamend Academy is an online remedial tutoring service based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. We provide 1-on-1 online tutoring sessions for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 across all boards.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide our services:

• WhatsApp number — to communicate with parents and share session updates
• Email address — for enrollment, invoices, and important communications
• Student details — name, grade, board, and subject areas (shared voluntarily by parents)
• Payment information — processed securely through Razorpay or Instamojo; we do not store card or bank details on our servers

We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN, or any government-issued ID unless required for invoicing purposes and only with your explicit consent.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

• To schedule and conduct online tutoring sessions
• To send weekly progress updates and monthly parent call reminders via WhatsApp
• To process payments and issue receipts
• To share session recordings with the respective parent/student
• To respond to queries and provide customer support
• To improve our teaching approach based on learning gap assessments

We will never use your information for unsolicited marketing or sell it to any third party for commercial purposes.

4. Sharing of Information

We share your information only where necessary to deliver our services:

• Assigned tutors — receive the student's name, grade, board, and subject details to conduct sessions effectively
• Zoom / Google Meet — video call platforms used to conduct online sessions; subject to their own privacy policies
• Razorpay / Instamojo — payment gateways used to process fees securely; subject to their own privacy policies
• WhatsApp (Meta) — used for parent communication; subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any unrelated third parties.

5. Session Recordings

With your consent, tutoring sessions may be recorded and shared with the respective parent and student only. Recordings are:

• Used strictly for the student's personal revision
• Not shared with any other party without explicit consent
• Stored securely and deleted after a reasonable period

6. Data Storage & Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data:

• Communication data is stored on secure, password-protected devices
• Payment data is handled entirely by our payment gateway partners (Razorpay/Instamojo) and is not stored on our systems
• Access to student data is restricted to only the assigned tutor and internal team members who need it

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for students under 18. All communication and enrollment is handled through a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without parental consent.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child without consent, please contact us immediately at hello@fundamendacademy.in and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

As a user of our services, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data after your engagement with us ends
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp communication at any time
• Opt out of non-essential communications
